Martyrdom / disappearance conditions

Jamal Mahmoud Qat'iyyah was an employee working in Kuwait when Israel occupied the Palestinian Territories on June 5th, 1967. His wife, daughter, and the rest of his family were residing in Aqraba, Nablus, and prepared to return back to his home country to check on them. After spending the night, Jamal Qat'iyyah decided to return by foot to Amman due to lack of transportation. The last time he was seen was on June 15th on his way to Jordan in the Jabal Sartabah Area (Al Furun). Jamal Qat'iyyah's mother tried to search for him in that area and found 15 bodies, and where her son's body was not identified as one of them. Ever since that date, the family considers their son's fate unknown, and cannot confirm whether he was killed or captured.
